The well-established Dumont family has been cultivating vines in the southern Champagne region of Aube for 200+ years. Produced in the saignée method, where fermentation is initiated as a red wine until grapes are subsequently separated from the skins after just two days of maceration. This provides the wine with its rich color, and tannin profile. Notes of ripened red fruit support a structured and smooth palate balanced with plenty of bright, refreshing acidity.
